And So It Has Come Down To This

And so it has come down to this. In under 24 hours, the release of the Singaporean General Certificate of Education “Ordinary” Levels will be held in all secondary schools in Singapore. It may not be as bad as I think it is, but there must always be a room for the worst. Even if I do get the results I want, where would I go from here? There are well over a few hundred courses in the five polytechnics in Singapore, and probably slightly more in the nineteen junior colleges. The thing is…I’ve yet to find a course that I’m comfortable with. My best bet now lies with the Mass Communication and Film, Sound and Video courses in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, but most GCE “O” Level holders are also aiming for those two courses as well. The probability of me getting a place in either course is about 1 in 65 535.
